Congress having made what is conceived to be an inadequate provision as compensation for taking the amount of manufacturers and manufacturing establishments (thirty thousand dollars in the whole) it is believed that it will be better for the marshals and their assistants that the subject should not be taken up at the treasury until it can be ascertained at the next session whether some further allowance will not be made....
